Karenmary Penn Wins Gival Press Short Story Award

Gival Press is pleased to announce that Karenmary Penn of Rancho Santa Fe, California, has won the 9th annual Gival Press Short Story Award-2012 for her short story titled Void.

The story was chosen by last year\’s winner Kristin FitzPatrick.

Finalists Lint, Dust and Hair by Gregory Loselle of Southgate, Michigan.

Duck Soup and My Mother\’s Double Death by Tim Walsh of Madison, Wisconsin.

The English Master Sails Ashore by Mark Wagstaff of London, England.

Red Line Stories by Carrie Lee Patterson based in Chicago, Illinois.
