The Women Poets international listserv joins the National Museum of Women in the Arts to celebrate National Poetry Month and the publication of an anthology of poems by members, with a reading on April 5 at 2 pm at the Museum. Poets reading form the anthology and their work include Rosemary Starace and Lesley Wheeler (editors), Julie Enszer, Kim Roberts, and Rosemary Winslow. Free and open to the public.

Deadline: March 31, 2009 The Word Works is now accepting five-page manuscripts of original poetry in English from poets interested in reading in the 34th Annual Joaquin Miller Cabin Summer Poetry Series is seeking submissions for poets to read this June and July in Rock Creek Park, Washington, D.C., this June and July. Please submit five poems, an SASE for reply, and a short bio. Send to Rosemary Winslow, Dept. of English, Catholic University of America, Washington, DC, 20064.
